5 weeks of getting up at 7 4 days a week have almost come to an end! Note that all this work was unpaid! If it was paid it would be decided less painful (How much does your average IT administrator get paid per hour ish?)
Its not been a bad time, infact its been great, but working for no money just doesnt feel right somehow lol, the cash i would have got from working most certainly would have helped paying off my loans ( /Sarcasm Thanks UK government for introducing tuition fees by the way, my life has been SO much better with them
/Sarcasm)
Certainly has been a pleasant experience working here at St John’s Hospice (www.stjohnshospice.org, make a donation!!!), an experience I’m sure that will stay with me forever, with people I’ll never forget………. unless i destroy even more brain cells with ingesting too much alcohol!
Still have the assignment to finish, got about 800-850 words out of 2600 now, but that’s just writing up critical reflection on 2 more of my learning targets which shouldn’t take much more than an hour each, and a little introduction, and then attaching appendices to the end of it all! Also gotta revise one of my initial learning targets because apparently its not written well or some rubbish, not too happy with my initial marks of a 2:2 for my learning targets, apparently performing training for staff in Outlook is nowhere near as good a learning target as laminating documents or shredding paper.
Really not happy with the way this modules been handled by the University (www.chester.ac.uk), but i dont think many people are, especially with this hand in date on a friday at mid day………. im fairly sure the university has a policy about hand-ins on a friday, what with the university being closed over a weekend, and then a bank holiday, so if for some reason you fall ill on friday, you miss 3 days of having your work handed in, for epic penalties *insert sony crab battle joke….. for epic damage*
Anywhoos, better get back to work, may post later, may be too busy, the only way you’ll find out is by checking back later!
